In a recent class we were introduced to a program called Dream weaver. This is basically a program that allows users to easily create and publish pages onto the web. This session was the first time I had been shown any programs to create my own web pages and I had never attempted to on my own either. I expected Dream weaver to be complicated, but something that I would be interested in learning. The instructions given by the speaker were surprisingly simple considering the actual task that was being accomplished. Attempting this with no instruction on my own would probably have been a disaster, but with a little guidance I was working on creating my own page. We were only taught the basic steps in starting up and designing pages but it was enough to get our class acclimated with the program. My project group decided to use a Google based program in creating our web page, but Dream weaver would certainly have been just as easy. I found the instruction very helpful and I am happy to have received an introduction to the program.
