POPSET: the Colours' Attack Contest

Are you ready to colour your life?

(London - March 2011) C-Myk [noun - See-myke] is no longer just a technical printing term but a little paper creature devised by Japanese graphic artist Shin Tanaka to launch an extension of the vibrant Pop’Set premium recycled paper range from Arjowiggins Creative Papers. In collaboration with D&AD, the paper manufacturer is challenging all paper users to create their own C-Myk as an expression of their originality and imagination. The Colours’ Attack competition engages designers of the paper toys in friendly competition with peers worldwide and supports UNESCO’s Promoting Art Through Education programme.

"Colours’ Attack Contest", is an imaginative and quirky competition that will challenge your good mood and your creativity.

To participate it's easy: create your very own CMyk. If your C-Myk is selected, it will be flying off to London to take part in the international Design exhibition organised by D&AD New Blood, a creative festival for emerging talent held in June.

During this event, your C-Myk could be displayed alongside other C-Myk created by Shin Tanaka, the Japanese graphic designer who comes from the urban street graffiti culture and the brain behind this concept. Celebrities will also attend this very special show...

"C-Myk is a very special entity. Born from the sunlights he came on Earth to make our lives more coloured and more pop." said Shin Tanaka.
