MoMu’ fashion Museum in the province of Antwerp, Belgium, showcases the exhibition Unravel: Knitwear in Fashion featuring a wide variety of knitted garments and accessories from both contemporary and classic knitwear design houses. And Tilda Swinton graces the visual of the show! You know how fond I am of Tilda and how I've had the chance to meet her for an interview a few years ago in the context of the Serpentine Pringle of Scotland's exhibition...
Historic couture garments from the likes of Schiaparelli, Patou and Chanel, along with top pieces from national and international designers and labels such as Anne Salens, Vivienne Westwood, Sonia Rykiel and Missoni, are presented until 14th August alongside work from established avant-garde designers and successful newcomers including Sandra Backlund, Maison Martin Margiela, Mark Fast and Kevin Kramp, to truly unmask the diversity and richness of knitwear in high fashion.
