As one of my last blog posts I really wanted to talk about something that interests me the most, and that would be dessert. I really could not live without a sweet treat at the end of a meal as I'm sure many of you would agree. In honor of my love for dessert, you will often find me watching food network or related shows on TLC. Cupcakes are one of my most favorite things in the world, so naturally my favorite show of them all is DC Cupcakes. It is not just the sweet taste of dessert that makes it so appealing to me, it is the detail in both plated design and appearance that make me overall pleased with the dessert I choose. The cupcake shop that is featured on DC Cupcakes, Georgetown Cupcakes, is a bakery that puts a lot of time and effort into making their desserts perfect every time. Desserts are a great everyday example of art that many people don't even realize. I've included pictures of a few Georgetown cupcakes, and I'm sure you can understand why I consider them to be works of art.
